Your Lesson

The Alexander Technique teacher has been trained to use her hands in a very unique and subtle way, which is always very gentle. Using touch and explanation, the teacher will help you become aware of your habits and how you can change them. Using everyday movements such as sitting and standing, we will explore where you are holding tension and you will learn to release it. For part of the lesson you will be lying down, which gives the body further opportunity to release muscle tension.

No special clothing is required providing movement is not restricted. Lessons cost £28.00 each or book 10 lessons and get one free. Concessions are available for senior citizens.

We recommend you come along for an introductory lesson. The Alexander Technique is not easy to describe in words, it is better to experience it.
