Jane Gregory has been trained to use her hands in a very unique and gentle way, which helps you to return to balance. Using touch and explanation, you will become aware of your habits and understand how you can change them.
Simple movements, such as standing and sitting, will help you find out where you are going wrong and, with guidance from Jane, explore better ways of moving.
For part of the lesson you will be lying down on a table, giving further opportunity to release muscle tension without the body having to hold itself up against gravity.
There are no particular clothing requirements, provided easy movement is not restricted.
The Alexander Technique is not easy to describe in words, it is far better to experience it for yourself during a lesson.
